LeBauer Park
Located in the heart of downtown Greensboro, LeBauer Park features two restaurants, a performance pavilion with lawn seating for up to 2,000, a 15,000-square-foot children’s play place, a putting green, a 3,500-square-foot dog park, a splashpad, an outdoor reading room, game tables and a one-acre plot of botanical gardens.
Doggos Dog Park & Pub
The Triad’s first Dog Park & Pub where doggos can run and play while their humans enjoy the bar, special events, and mingling.
Trails
Greensboro has an extensive network of trails and greenways for walkers, runners, hikers and bikers to enjoy, including close to 50 miles of natural surface trails around the city’s three lakes.
Greensboro's Gardens
Greensboro has four distinct public gardens that nurture strong communities by contributing to education, environmental conservation, health, and recreation. Open year-round, these gardens are free to all.
Barber Park
Greensboro’s Barber Park features a sprayground, six picnic shelters, playground, one mile walking trail, Safety Town, an outdoor amphitheater, disc golf, Penn Wright Baseball Stadium, Simkins Indoor Sports Pavilion, and the Barber Park Event Center featuring the Ruth Wicker Tribute to Women.
City Lakes
Greensboro’s three municipal reservoirs offer recreational activities including kayaking, canoeing, sailing, rowing, SUP and some of the best fishing in the region.
Downtown Greenway
A planned 4-mile walking and biking trail with an emphasis on public art, this urban loop is the only one of its kind in North Carolina.
Guilford Courthouse National Military Park
Guilford Courthouse National Military Park is located on the site of the largest battle of the Revolutionary War’s Southern Campaign. General Nathaniel Greene, namesake of the city, led Patriot troops in the Battle of Guilford Courthouse and helped turn the tide of the war in the favor of independence.
